JEE Main 2019 Eligibility Criteria – Age Limit, Education Qualification
Every candidate has to complete all aspect of JEE Main 2019 Eligibility Criteria checklist. In this article, we have provided the list of eligibility criteria required to apply for JEE Main 2019. This year JEE Main engineering exam is conducted by National Test Agency (NTA). If the candidate fulfills all the given criteria, they can apply for JEE Main through its official website. JEE Main 2019 Eligibility Checklist
Before applying for JEE Main 2019 Exam, the candidate needs to fulfill below mention eligibility checklist.
Nationality – Candidate should be an Indian citizen
Age Limit – General and OBC Candidates should be born on or after 1st October 1994. Reserve category candidates (ST, SC, and PwD) should be born on or after 1st October 1989.
No. of Attempt – Candidates can apply for JEE Main exam only three times
Qualification required – Candidate must have a complete 10+2 exam or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Subject required – Candidate must have passed their 12th board with Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subject along with one of the following subject Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or Technical vocational.
Aggregate marks – Candidate don’t need to have any particular aggregate marks, they just need to pass their 10+2 board exam.
Appearing Candidates – Candidate appearing for their 12th Board exam in the year 2019 can also apply for JEE Main 2019 exam.
Diploma Candidates – Candidate holding a diploma degree can also apply for JEE Main 2019 exam, but their marks get only be accepted at NITs & CFTIs.
Aadhar Card Details for JEE Main
Candidates need to enter their Aadhar Card details while applying for JEE Main 2019 application form
Candidates need to enter AADHAAR Card number, name, date of birth & gender which will be validated with the UIDAI’s data.
If submitted Aadhar card details in the application form mismatch with UIDAI’s data, the application would be rejected
The Aadhar card details have been excluded for Candidates from Meghalaya, J & K, and Assam.
These candidates need to enter their passport number, bank account number, ration card number or any other valid Govt. identity number to get examination center in these states only.
JEE Main Eligibility for NITs, IIITs and CFTIs Admissions:
Candidate must secure at least 75% marks in the qualifying exam or must be in top 20 percentile class of 12th board exam.
Candidates who belong to SC/ ST class must secure 65% marks in the qualification exam.
