GATE 2019 ExamGATE 2019 Mock Test Schedule start from the 8th November 2018. Download of Admit Card of GATE 2019 Exam will start from 4th January 2019. GATE exam is a national level engineering entrance exam which is officially conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. The official notification for GATE 2019 exam has been published by IIT Madras. The exam will be conducted 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th February 2019 for 24 papers. This exam will be conducted through online mode. It is taken to provide admission in engineering courses such as M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes at IITs, IISc, NITs, GFTIs and other Universities in India.

How to GATE 2019 Admit Card Download

IIT GATE 2019 admit card will be issued from 4th January 2019 on its official website. The candidate who has successfully submitted their GATE application form without any error would be able to download their hall ticket. From this year, GATE 2019 hall ticket can only be obtained through online mode. Following we have given few key points for GATE hall ticket download:

How to download Admit Card – The candidate need to log in through GOAPS webpage with their enrollment no. or email id and password. Please note, no post will be sent to the candidate’s address regarding hall ticket. The only way to get admit card is through online mode of GOAPS link.

Issuing Date of Hall Ticket – As per the official GATE 2019 notification, admit card link get active from 4th January 2019.

Biometric confirmation – Before starting the exam, biometric information (Photograph and Fingerprints) will be captured for randomly selected candidates.

Points to remember – The candidates must bring original ID proof (specified in application) along with the color print of their GATE admit card.

GATE 2019 Official Notification

The official notification for GATE 2019 was released on 6th July 2018. As per the notification, IIT Madras will organize GATE engineering exam for the year 2019. The board will start accepting online application form from 1st September 2018. GATE 2019 exam will be held on 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th of February 2019. GATE 2019 is conducted to offer admission in engineering courses at IITs, IISc, NITs, GFTIs and other Universities. It will be conducted all over India, around 200 cities and 6 abroad cities. Online Registration Process of GATE 2019

GATE 2019 Registration starts from 1st September 2018 through GOAPS. GOAPS is popularly known as GATE Online Application Processing System. The Candidate is requested to fill GATE online application form before 21st September 2018. If they fail to submit till then, they can also submit their application by 1st October 2018 with late fees. Following we have given key points for GATE Registration Process 2019:

GATE Registration Process – The candidate needs to visit the official website of GATE on 1st September 2018. Then need to fill the online application form through GOAPS. While filling form they need to enter all the correct personal & academic information, email id and Phone no. After registration, an enrollment number and password will be generated for log in future.

Application Form Filling – The candidates need to make sure their submitted details match with submitted documents. The details like personal, academic, contact, college and valid photo id should be accurate. After filling the form candidate will have to select GATE paper and any 3 exam centres.

Uploads required – The Candidates also have to upload their certificate of qualifying degree. The Candidate who has selected reserve category or Dyslexic certificate have to upload respective documents. They also have to submit their passport size photograph and signature with particular dimensions and sizes mentioned below:

  • Maximum Size: 480×640 pixels
  • Minimum Size: 240×320 pixels
  • Dimension: 3.5cm × 4.5cm

GATE 2019 Application Form Correction

GATE 2019 Correction will start from November 2018 at the official website of GATE Exam. This year, IIT Madras is going to conduct GATE 2019 exam. GATE application for correction facility is a one time opportunity for the candidates who had made mistake in their application form. To make the correction in the application form, the candidates need to log in through their GOAPS Account.

The candidates can change any of the following fields while GATE 2019 correction process:

  • Name of Candidate
  • DOB
  • Name of Parent/Guardian
  • Status from Gen to OBC and OBC to General
  • Have you graduated in the above degree?
  • Year of Qualifying Degree

Eligibility Criteria for GATE Exam

GATE eligibility criteria are determined by IISc Bangalore and Seven IITs. There are various elements which should be fulfilled by the candidates before applying.

Age Criteria – The official board has not kept any type of age limitation to apply for the exam.

Nationality – The candidate must be an Indian citizen to apply for GATE exam. From now, the candidates who belong from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates can also apply for GATE Exam.

Passing Marks/ Percentage – There is no minimum pass percentage in the qualifying degree while applying for GATE 2019.
