COMEDK UGET 2019: Notification, Application Form, Important Dates
COMEDK UGET 2019 official notification will release in last week of October 2018 and application form distribution starts from 3rd week of January 2019. COMEDK UGET will be conducted for admissions in Medical, Dental and Engineering courses in the state colleges of Karnataka. The exam will be organized by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental, Karnataka.
The exam will be conducted for admissions in 150 engineering colleges, 25 dental and 14 medical colleges. As the official notification has not yet been released, the exam information has been derived from the previous year brochure. As soon as the COMEDK UGET 2019 is announced, the post shall be updated.

COMEDK UGET 2019 Exam Dates
The candidates are advised to complete all the exam activities such as application form submission and download etc as per the dates released by the Consortium. Refraining from this will lead to application form cancellation and inability to take the exam.

COMEDK UGET 2019 Application Form
The exam forms will be released online and all the candidates will have to complete all the steps of form filling and submission online. The candidates are advised to complete all the steps of form submission within the deadline as after that all the links will expire and candidates will not be able to apply for the exam.
Step 1: The very first step will be to login to the official exam portal and use the link for “New Registration”.
Step 2: Initially, the candidates will be required to enter the personal details such as Name, Father Name, Qualifying Class, Marks Card, Address, Valid e-mail Id and Contact Number etc.
Step 3: In the next step, the candidates will be sent the login information on the Email ID or Contact Number. The Login ID and Password will be valid till the complete duration of COMEDK UGET 2019.
Step 4: Once the candidate has completed the initial form submission, he or she will be allotted the application or registration number which will be unique and system generated. The candidates should note it down for future reference as all the communications will be done using that as the reference number.
Step 5: The next step will involve submission of the academic details of Class X and XII exam and choice of the exam centre from the list approved by the Consortium.
Step 6: Finally, the candidates will be asked to submit the fee for COMEDK UGET 2019 via the options mentioned in the online form. The form fee will be INR 1200 for Engineering Admissions and INR 1000 for Architecture Admissions which can be remitted in online as well as offline mode.
Step 7: Online fee payment will be done via the Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. The offline fee remission will be done via the Bank Challan. Then, the candidates will be asked to upload the scanned images of their signature and passport sized photo as per the instructions mentioned in the online form.
Candidates should note that the forms received without the scanned images or with wrongly uploaded images, will be summarily rejected.
Only the eligible candidates should apply for COMEDK UGET 2019; as the ineligible candidates will be rejected.
The candidates should keep a hard copy of the filled application form for future usage.
Eligibility Criteria for COMEDK UGET Exam
The Consortium will release a few norms and regulations in order to decide whether an applicant is eligible for the exam or not. These norms will be termed as the eligibility criteria and will be a MUST for all the applicants. Ineligible candidates detected at any stage of admissions will be rejected instantly.
Eligibility for Engineering Admissions:
- Candidates must be of 17 years of the age before the 31st December of the applying year of COMEDK UGET 2019.
- This age limit will be applicable to the categories of the candidates.
- Candidates must have passed the 12th or PUC or any equivalent examination from any recognized Board or the University in order to be eligible for COMEDK UGET 2019.
- For admissions in the Engineering courses, Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (40% for the SC/ST/OBC candidates of the Karnataka State) in Physics, Mathematics, and English in Class XII.
Eligibility for Architecture Admissions:
- Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years by 31st December of the year of admission.
- The candidates must have taken and passed the Class XII or 2nd PUC or any other equivalent exam from any recognized Board or University with Math as a compulsory subject.
- In order to be eligible for the architectural courses under COMEDK UGET 2019, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks (45% for the SC/ST/OBC candidates of the Karnataka State) in Class XII.
- Also, the candidates of all the categories must have secured at least 80 marks out of 200 in the NATA exam conducted by the COA.
COMEDK UGET Exam Pattern 2019
Exam Mode: COMEDK UGET 2019 will be conducted in online mode.
Type of Questions: The exam will have MCQs the answers of which are to be marked on a computer screen.
Exam duration: 3 hours.
Exam Language: English.
Marking Scheme: Every RIGHT answer will fetch you ONE mark. There will be NO NEGATIVE MARKING.
Sections: COMEDK UGET 2019 will have 3 sections, namely – Physics, Math, and Chemistry. Every section will have 60 questions. The paper will carry 180 marks.
Steps to Download COMEDK UGET 2019 Admit Card
